Work

We judge our work by what it does after launch. Sales, sign-ups, donations, and a team that finally feels proud handing out a business card. Here are three recent projects and what changed.

Work at Northbound Studio

Fernwood Tea Co.

Packaging and brand refresh. A small-batch tea company from the Oregon coast had loyal fans and forgettable boxes. We rebuilt the brand around its coastal roots and designed a packaging system for eight blends. Wholesale accounts grew from 14 to 41 in the first year.

Open Shelf Literacy

Website and messaging. A literacy nonprofit serving four counties needed more volunteer tutors. Its old website buried the sign-up form three clicks deep. We rewrote the story, simplified the path, and built a new site on WordPress. Volunteer applications doubled in six months.

Halden Outdoor Supply

E-commerce website. A family-run outdoor gear shop wanted online sales to match its in-store reputation. We designed and built a Shopify store with clear product filters, honest gear guides, and fast mobile checkout. Online revenue rose 62 percent year over year.

What these projects share

Each client came in with a specific problem, not a vague wish for something fresh. We started by finding the real constraint, whether that was shelf visibility, a broken sign-up path, or a store that felt generic. Then we designed the shortest route to fixing it.

  • Clear goals set in week one
  • One senior team from kickoff to launch
  • Results measured after launch, not just at handoff

Industries we know well

Food and beverage, outdoor and lifestyle retail, education, environmental groups, and community health organizations. We're curious about new categories too, as long as the founder cares as much as we do.
